Sydney, Sept. 24. The Telegraph, with a front-page •rtreamer heading, "Will he play? It's up to Bradman!" says: "It is of course, unthinkable that Bradman will not play for Australia, and doubt•ess a satisfactory way out of the imyiasse will be found." Dr. Robertson, cliairman of the Board of Control statcd: "If any player ha? an ajiplication to make the board will be plessed to consider it on its merita. The board has had -ueh applications in the past and tbey bave been disposed of amicably." A member of the Marylebone Club told the Sun that though the absence cf Bradman would . greatly improve England's prospects tbey did not wish to obtain advantage in that way. Bradman \s omission would detract from the interest of the tour.
