Visitors From Abroad Among tbe visitors to the Arikikapakapa links recently were Messrs. G. A. Cameron and F. H. Creasy, of ihe Royal Colombo Club, Ceylon and Mr. E. Muntz, of Oundle, England. Havers in Form A. G. Havers, the English' professional, recently boled out in two on his home course Saxxdy Lodge. It was at the sixth hole, which is 455 yax*ds and for which bogey is 5. Following a good drive, Havers' mashie shot of about 200 yards went down. This is, as far as is known, the first time that the sixth at Sandy Lodge has been done in two. Havers took 67 for the round. "Worst Golfer in America." This little yarn was related by an American member of an English golf club. 'It concerned one of his compatriots who was known as "the Worst Golfer in America." This par--ticular player, no lxxatter how badly he played, was never heard to swear. One day one of his opp'onents remarked upon this fact. "Yes, its true, I donjt cuss," replied the foozler, "but let me tell you this. Every time I miss, I spit, and where I spit the grass don't grow again."
