GRAND
TO-NIGHT "What price divorce?" That is the question propounded in "The Road to Reno," feature picture which opened last night at the Grand Theatre. The collective result of all the colourful, exciting, humorous and at times gravely dramatic action of the play is to bring forward an argument against divorce. Against it, at least as a remedy for the plight of the central charaeters in the play — Lilyan Tashman and Irving Pichel. The crisis of the play is startling, charged v/ith electric suspense. The ending is happier than you'd think. Suffice it to say, Miss Tashman does not get a divorce. Mirth-provoking comedy is provided by that white-haired boy of funland — Skeets Gallagher. Wynne Gibson also provides many interesting minutes with her charaeterisation of a Renotable.
