NAPIER WATERSIDERS STILL DEMAND OLD RATES OF PAY

Napier, Wednesday. No labour was forthcoming to woi'k the Shell Company's Taua, and the Richardson steamer, Koutunui today, the watersiders adhering to their decision to refuse work except under the old rates of pay. It is understood that the. men are awaiting instructions from Wellington. The Taua discharged her bulk oil through pipes to the tanks, but the case oil was untouched.
