Rec. Sept. 21, 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 20. The Marquis of Clydesdale has been selected as chief pilot of the British expedltion. which will set opt probably next month to fly over Mount Everest. The machine which is being used is a two seater with,.a special engine and an oxygen apparatus. The Marquis of Clydesdale will be accompanied only by a photographer; The Air Ministry is affording every assistance. as well as the Government of India. u The Maharajah of Nepal, in- which territory Mount Everest stands, hqs given permission for the flight.
