Homebrew.
Home-brewing is enjoying a large measure of popularity at present, and rumour has it that in a certain "dry" district on the main north line a horne brewers' association h'as heen formed, with the object of condueting periodical competitions for the best brew, the judge being a man skilled in chemical analysis. One member of the association recently conceived the notion of submitting the product of a well-known brewery in his own bottles as his sample. His surprise can be inaagined when he found himself placed seventh on the list. One is 1 inclined to wonder what sort of "kick" ' was contained in the winner's sample.
