GOLDFISH IN RIVER
ANGLER'S UNUSUAL CATCH. A roach angler made a rare catch in the River Lea, near Rye House, lately — a goldfish six and a half inches long. ' How the goldfish found its way into the river cannot be definitely stated, but it may have been liberated by an angler, as goldfish' are not infrequently used as bait for pike.
