GOOD NEWS

SEVERAL BIG BUILDINGS PROPOSED FOR WELLINGTON Wellington, Friday. Wellington, like other cities and towns in the Dominion, has been in the doldrums as far as building is concerned. For a long time past it has been particularly difficult for contractors and tradesmen. No new jobs of any size have been undertaken and .generally things have been bad. Now good news has come. along. The end of this year and next yearwill see a busy period in building work. Several really big worlcs are on the way and other jobs one way and another are projected. The. expenditure upon new buildings in the city will not be far short of £500,000, and will probably exceed this sum.
