Dr. E. Jablonsld and Mr. N. Steinedke, of New York, are visiting Rotorua, and are at the Grand Hotel. Dr. Jablonsld and Mr. Steinedke are proeeeding to the East Coast district where in company with an expert of the Taranaki Oil Fields Company, they will investigate oil field prospects in the Gisborne district. Mrs. Jablonsld is accompanying the party. Count de Baillett Latour, president of the International Olympic Council, is spending a few days in Rotorua, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. L. Jaffrey and Mr. W. Calderwood, of Auckland, are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Steward, of Auckland, and Mr« and Mrs. Spillane, of Wanganui, are staying at the Em'pire Hotel. Mrs. A. E. Barr-Brown, of Putaruru is at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. Signal and Mr. Robertson, of Auckland, are among those at the Palace Hotel. Mr. N .Osborne, of Melbourne, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bell, of Te Awamutu, Mr. Roscoe and Mr. Yates, of Auckland, are staying at the Empiro Hotel. Mr. P. Humphries and Mr. G. W.
Kinchington, of London, are staying at the Hotel Australia. Mr. and Mrs. Pyne, of Auckland, Mrs. Bryantin and Miss Bryantin, of Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Australia. Mr. Fraser, of Christchurch, and Mr. J. Cruickshank, of Central Otago, are at the Hotel Australia. Mr. and Mrs. B. White and Miss T. White, of Wanganui, are at the Empire Hotel.
