Will Have to Improve.
When Tea Chat commenced his three-year-old career last season he was expected to develop into a firstclass sprinter, hut failed to live up to his reputation. He was saddled up on 20 occasions and was only twice successful; therefore, he will have to show marked improvement in oi'der to pay his way in the future. W. Stone has the chestnut sprinter in good oi'der at Avondale to commence the new season, and it will not be this trainer 's fault if the son of Tea Tray fails to make good.
