Sir, — I have read the letter by "An Old Seddon Liberal" in your issue of Tuesday and I quite agree with the suggestion that our member should noid ministerial rank, but I would suggest, however, that instead of the porLfolio of Minister of Public Works that it should be Minister of Pu^. Health. Why I make this suggestion is that this town being a health resort, well known throughout the world, and our member being conversant with the healing virtues of the waters of this district, the position would suit him admirably. I really think that the werk performed by our member, both .n and out of the House, has not been appreciated in the manner that is due to him, and an effort should be made to have him elevated to Ministerial rank. I thoroughly support the suggestion by your correspondent in the hope that it may meet with the approval of the citizens, and it would be a great honour to our town. — 1 am, etc.,
