Rec. Sept. 13, 7.50 p.m. Melbourne, Sept, 13. Although all Victoria union leaders strongly resent the. wage redqctions, there are many responsible officials who refused to be embroiled in a general strike. The general secretary of the Waterside Workers' Federation, Mr. A. Turley, warned members that they would be well advised to take no part in the general strike unless instructed to do so. Mr. Turley adds that it is mainly people without work who are urging the strike.
