ENJOYABLE EVENING HELD IN WAIOTAHI HALL.

A very sucecssful batchelors' dance was held in the Waiotahi Hall on Fxhday night. The Gaiety Orchestra supplied the music, and two extras were played by Misaes M. and W. Looney. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss E. Smith and Mr. P. Looney. j Among those present were: — Mes- j dames Torrie, fioral georgette; E. Fryer, lemon satin; J. Moody, brown crepe de ehine; Scott, black satin; F. Looney, pink net over satin; Misses V. Moody, wine satin with bridge coat; D. Moody, fioral green taffeta and bridge coat; F. Small, white satin; I. Kelly, flesh georgette; W. Looney, blue fioral georgette; L. Rau, white satin with bridge coat; M. Arrol, black satin beaute-; E. Smith, pink fioral voile; M. Eason, blue satin; D. Wolfe, green figured taffeta and georgette; B. Ensol, black and green georgette with' bridge coat; R. Jennings, fioral georgette; E.
