OPPQSITION ANTICIPATES SUPPORT OF NEW MEMBER

— By Telegraph — Copyright;.

Wellington, Monday. Arrangements have been made by the Labour Party for holding a caucus on Wednesday of next week, the day preceding the opening of Parliament. It is expected that questions of

considerable importance will be discussed, and that endeavours will be made to arrive at a common policy on current questions. The caucus also will decide whether the party will launch a no-confidence motion. Considerable interest will centre around the attitude of the new member for the . Southern Maori district, (Mr. E. T. Tirikatene). The Labour Party claim that the new member will range himself with the official Opposition.
