'PLANE FORCED DOWN OFF GREENLAND COAST SEARCH UNAVAILlNG Fears are entertai'ned for the safety of the Hutchison family who set out recently to fly from America to Denmark. After being detained in Greenland for making an unauthorised landing, the 'plane took off for Denmark but according to a wireless message, received was forC'ed down off the cohst. A vessel which arrived in response to the message could not locate the 'plane and a further search has so far been unavailing.

Rec. Sept. 12. Copenhagen, Sept. 11. The Hutchinson family, who are flying from America to Britain by easy stages, were forced to alight in the sea near Greenland. At 4.20 o'clock this afternon, Angmasalik picked up their "S.O.S." The British trawler Lord Talbot sped to the rescue, and maintained communication with them until 6.23, since when no message has been received from the scene of the accident.
