HEAD-ON COLLISION

SERVICE CAR AND FIVE SEATER COLLIDE ON MERI MERI There was an accident on the Meri Meri Hill on Sunday, when a service car, on a downhill grade, collided with a five-seater tourer driven by Mr. Sara Kara. Mr. Kara saw the service car about 90 feet away from the corner and pulling to the right hand side of the road, stopped his car close to the bank. The service car did not have time to pull up> and struck the car, smashing the radiator, headlights, and windscreen., Mr. Kara's daughter, aged about 12 years, struck the wind-screen knocked out several teeth and sustained a cut over the eye. The damaged car was towed into Messrs. Horne's garage.
