Napier, Monday. Watersiders engaged to-day in unloading the Poolta's produce from southern ports, refused to work overtime to-night unless they Were paid the old rate. Consequently the work ceased as the employers declared that the ovork should proceed in the meantime on the old conditions, but at the new rate of pay.
