AT SYDNEY WOOL SALE Sydney, Sept. 5. At the wool sale, 13,999 bales were offered and 13,507 were sold; in addition, 2629 were disposed of privately. Tho best features of the opening sale were reproduced to-day. There was lceen competition with improved Japanese activity, and prices showed a general advance of five per cent. on the closing rates of last week. Greasy merinoes sold at 151d. The average price of wool sold in Sydney last week was £10 17/4 per bale.
