OUTLOOK FOR N.Z. PRODUCE BRIGHTER THAN FOR SOME TIME IMPORT RESTRICTIONS

— By Telegraph — Copyrlght) .

Rec. Sept. 5, 5 p.m. Londott, Sept. 4. Thp butter market ha? developed a firmness, and prices are steadily hardenjng with a good consumptive denjand., The Danish quotation advanced 10s yesterday to 124s per cwt. This is due to the German restrictions against Denmark being modified, permitting larger imports and it is reported that Germany this week bought an extra 4000 casks. It is also likely that Belgium will soon modify her import restrictions; consequently, less Danish will come here, and it seems not improbable that prices will harden further. Altogether the outlook for Australian and New Zealand appears brighter than for some time past.
