The Times. reviewing Germany's claims to euuality of armament in eonjunction with the Steel Helmet display, says that it is not surprising that the elaim for equality has aroused profound misgivings in a neighhouring eounlry. Urging the British Government to consider the question as early as possible, the Times remarks that it is impossib'e in the long run to keep a fnst-elass power in a second-class ljositb.n. Gormany must be given no exeu.-e to take any lateral action, destroying at one stroke all the prospeets of general disarmament.
