New Plymouth, Thursday. Clive Smith, the six year old son of Mr .and Mrs- Arthur Smith, farmer, of Matau, is believed to have been drowned in a stream near the house. A search for the. body was unavailing. The boy rose early and dressed only in a singlet, took a towel and a scone and left the ihouse. The towel and scone were found on the bank of the flooded creek.
