The many friends of Mr. J. S. Mathias will be pleased to learn that he is now convalescing after his recent severe illness. Rev. C. E. Newbould and Mrs. Newbould, of Te Kuiti, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. L. Crawford, Mr. Aiken and Mr. Pattersfield, of Auckland, are among those at the Palace Hotel. Mrs. K. Brittian, Miss W. Nookes and Miss E. Nookes, of Auckland, are at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. A. G. Williams and Mr. W. R. Belding, of Wellington, are among those at the Grancl Hotel. Mr. A. J. Keenan, Mr. W. Jupp and Mr. A. L. Stedman are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. J. Hughes, of Palmerston North, and Mr. W. Fenton, of Featherston, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. E. A. Carlson, of Auckland, and Mr. H. G. Didsbury, of Wellington, are among those at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Luth, of Victoria, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Miss W. Carrigan, of Auckland, is at Brents Bathgate House. Miss I. Louisson, who has been on a trip to Tahiti, has returned to Rotorua. Frofessor F. Sinclaire, of Canterbury College, and Mrs. Sinclaire, are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. L. A. Lewis, of Rotorua. Attention please.
