Mr. L. W. King, who has heen stationmaster at Mamaku for the past 10 years, has been notified of his transfer to another station. Mr. King has heen very popular and his departure will be regretted. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Reid and the Misses Todhunter, of Sydney, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. P. Freeman, Mr. D. Walden, and Mr. Craig of Auckland, are among those at the Palaee Hotel. Mr. W. Fisher, Mr. S. H. Sime and Mr. W. H. Kydd, of Auckland, are staying at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr and Mrs. R. E. Pope, of Wellington, and Mr. G. G. Williams, of Waipawa, are at Princes Gate. Miss N. Ormond, of Gisborne and Miss C. J. Vickery, of Auckland, are staying at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr. J. Burton, of Manchester, England, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. Clark-Walker and Miss Clark-Walker, of Malaya, are at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr and Mrs Hopper, Mr. E. Griffin and Mr. Winks, of Auckland, are staying at the Palace Hotel. Professor H. H. Corbin, Mr. D. Corhin and Miss L. H. Corbin, of Auckland, are at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr. J. E. Best, Mr. N. H.- Dixon, Mr. H. A. Hoare and Mr. W. J. Laird, of Auckland, are among th'ose at Brent's Bathgate House. Mr. Alf Court, of Thames and his daughter Miss Joan Court are spending a holiday in Rotorua staying at Hamilton House. Mr. J.
