BEHIND THE "MIKE"
MR. LEN BARNES TELLS ROTARY ABOUT BROADCASTING. "Behind the Scenes at 1YA" was the subject of a short address given to the Rotorua Rotary Club on Monday by Rotarian Len Barnes, station manager of 1YA. The speaker introduced a good deal of quiet humour into his presentation of the facts and the address was singularly popular with Rotarians. His descriptions of the auditorium and the types of persons who aspired to be put on over the air were as vivid as they were entertaining.
