OHAUPO HORSE SALE

Messrs. Dalgety and Company Limited, report having held their Horse sale at Ohaupo on Friday, 26th August, as under: — Tnere was -a large entry of 177 liorses, consisting- of 110 Broken Draughts, 35 unbroken horses and '32 light horses, including a draft of 50 useful farm horses from Hawke's Bay. There was a very 'large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district and a very successful sale resulted. Unbroken draughts sold from £15 to £29; light unbroken horses £7 to £10/10-. Useful young draughts sold from £20 to £26. Light farm horses £15/10- to £18. Aged and inferior draughts £7 to £12. Light harness horses and hacks. Of the horses offered we sold 90 working draughts, 30 unbroken horses and 15 light horses.
