VETERANS' GOLF

tourney opens QUALIFYING ROUND FOR TO-DAY'S CUP PLAY GOOD CARDS RETURNED Taken by and large, the scores put up by the older players in the Rotorua Veterans' Cup tourney which opened yesterday morning were much steadier than those put up by the players in the first day of the championship, and with handicaps talcen off, some fine cards were turned in.
