CHINESE TROUBLE
JAPANESE KILLED Tokio, August 28. A Mukden message states that incendiary fires were discovered at niidnight in several buildings including the arsenal and the aerodrome, where some aeroplanes were destroyed. The originators are believed to be emissaries of Chang Hsue Liang. Three hundred bandits are practically surrounding the north-east-ern wireless station in the suburbs of Mukden, where severe fighting is taking place. Several Japanese were killed, including the Lieutenant in charge. Armoured cars are rushing relief from Mukden.
