OFFICERS RE-ELECTED AT ANNUAL MEETING All went merrily as the proverl marriag© bell at the annlial meet of the Rotorua Racing Club ] evening, at which there was an tendance of 13 members. Dr. Bertram presided and was the r pient of many verbal bouquets fr members. All the oflicers who were retir were re-elected unanimously and report and balance sheet Was adc ed without comment. Mr F. S. Boyes paid a tribute the excellent work of the comtnitl and the president, a sentiment wh was echoed hy those present. A request from the newly forr Rotorua Trotting Club for the use the club's appointments for its r meeting was referred to the exj tive for sympathetic consideratj whilst a similar reception was gjj a request from the Hunt Club f o| meeting on September 21. The possibility of another dj racing was duly canvassed and it| decided that it would he tothebl fit of the club. Members eonsidl that the club had come througj difficult year in a very satisfacj manner and votes of thanks toi outgoing officials terminated a ni ing which was notable for its sj of camaraderie. ______ 1
