Rec. Aug. 28, 11 p.m. Rome, August 28. A mutiny by the Chinese crew, numbering 27, of a British tanker, Helotis, at Naples, was controlled only when "the Fascist militia with j drawn revolvers, boarded the vessel ! and locked the mutineers in two cabins. The trouble arose when the captain rebuked the helmsman for negligence as he was about to sail. The I helmsman closed with the master, biting him severely on the hand before he was driven off by other British officers. The helmsman called other Chinese, who rushed the bridge, armed with knives and other weapons, the officers defending themselves until the militia arrived. ■One Ch^ese was injured and was taken to hospital.
