Mrs Amelia Earliart Putnam hopped off in the same monoplane as that in which she crossed the Atlantic, in a non-stop flight across the United States, a feat never before done by a woman. The route will eross the mountains and deserts of New Mexico, and Ohio, Newark, and New Jersey.
