FRANKTON RESIDENT IS BROUGHT BEFORE COURT

Hamilton, Thursday. Arising out of the fire in Forbes' billiard saloon, High Street, Frankton, on Sunday night, George Ira Land appeared before. Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrato's Court this morning, charged with wilfully setting fire to the buikling, thereby committing arson. Accused was remanded in custody until August 31.
