Rcc. Aug. 25, 8.15 p.m. London, Aug. 24. The Times' .Copenhagen correspondent says that, on second thoughts, agriculturalists feel that the effects of Ottawa are not as serious as at first feared. The egg trade will suffer most, but butter will not he unduly affected. They consider that Danish butter has long- fetched higher prices than the Dominion butter, and will con-. tinue to do so, overcoming the increased duty. Meanwhile the Government is preparing to negotiate for a trade agreement with Great Britain immediately Mr. Stanley Baldwin and his colleagues return.
