BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. S. H. Hay was the hostess at a most 'enjoyable bridge party at her home in Fenton Street last week. The hridge room was gay with spring flowers and Mrs. Hay received her guests in a charming frock of Chinese red chiffon velvet. The p-rizes for the progressive hridge were won by Mrs. R. C'opeland Smith' and Dr. Bertram, while Mrs. E. Roe and Dr. Lewis received consolation trophies. The guests pr>esent were: — Dr. and Mrs H Bertram, Dr and Mrs. J. Campbell Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. R. Copeland Smith, Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Carr, Mr. and Mrs. E. Roe, Mrs. Finn and Col. Mellor.
