Winnipeg, August 23. Mr. R. B. Bennett '(the Federal Prime Minister) to-day called a conference of the Prairie Premiers to confer on the banks' demand for further guarantees regarding the 22,000,000 dollars (£4,500,000) deficit for the 1929 crop, which amount was jointly guaranteed hy the Dominion and the Prairie Provinces.
