BANK BANDITS FIND POLICE HIDING ON THE PREMISES.

Vancouver, August 23. A message from Halifax states that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police killed one bandit, wounded a second, and captured a third in an attempted bank hold-up. The bandits opened fire when the police who were hidden on the premises as the result of a tip, demanded the bandits' surrender.
