IMPROVED SHOOTING
The ladies of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club held their usual weekj ly shoot at the Drill Hall on Tuesi day night, when five of them scored I 60 or over off the rifle. This was j easily their best shooting to date. The following is the list of those who 1 scored 50 or over off the rifle: — j Miss W. E. Ellison, 63; Miss R. : Owens, 62; Miss V. FergusQn, 62; ! Miss V. Butler, 61; Miss D. Adolph, | 60; Miss R. Jeffery, 59; Miss M. Pike, 55; Miss M. Worrall, 55. j During the evening Miss Ferguson clxallenged one of the men members, and put on the score of 65 against 63. To-night the club is firing a match | of 20 a-side against Whangarei. ! Weekly button winners were as ; follows:— j A grade: Miss W. E. Ellison; B" grade: Miss R. Owens; C grade, Mrs. Wishnowsky; D grade: Miss V. Butler.
