Auckland, Friday. On May 13 a diamond-studded watch, diamond earrings, and £11 10s in cash, of a total value of £241 10s were stolen from a woman's house in Epsom. After prolonged inquiries detectives recovered the. earrings from a pawnshop, and to-day they arrested George Henry Bennett Morgan (34), mechanic, and charged him with the theft. He was remanded to August 25. Bail was fixed at £250.
