HON. J. B. GOW ELECTED TO FILL CHAIRMANSHIP VACANCY A speeial meeting of the Opotiki Power Board was held on Wednesday evening for the purpose of electing a chairman to fill the vacancy creat- i ed by the death of the late Mr. H. ; R. Hogg. The nominations of the 1 Hon. J. B. Gow, and Messrs. S. Peebl- \ es and J. Tabb were received. Mr. ; Gow was elected on the ballot.
