A message from Springfield (Mass.) states that Russell Boardman, the trans-Atlantic flyer, was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon when a 'plane he was trying out crashed into the woods near here from a height of 2000 feet. He was in a semi-con-scious condition when talcen to the hospital.
