MAJESTIC THEATRE
MAJESTIC, TO-NIGHT Ann Harding's latest starring vehicle is . outstanding in many respects, all of which assure audiences who see "Prestige," at the Majestic Theatre to-night, a thoroughly enjoyable hour with this great RKQ Pathe star. As the physically frail but spiritually gigantic heroine, Ann Harding gives a superb performance. Nor has she ever appeared to greater advantage from the standpoint of photography. Her wistful loveliness ( has an ethereal quality, with, in many j scenes, a ch'arming ,suggestion of whimsical humour. I Douglas will be remembered as the young stage actor who played his first screen role opposite Gloria Swanson in "To-night or Never." | His remarlcable promise in that picture is fully'horne out by the exceptional work which he contributes to "Prestige." Unquestionahly a new j screen idol has arrived. 1 This great heart drama is Iaid in tropical jungles, much of the picture was photgraphed in the wild heauty of the Florida Everglades. A several weeks' location trip into the heart of this exotic but little known territory resulted in ohtaining some of the loveliest scenic back-grounds ever shown on the screen.
