OPOTIKI BOY SCOUTS

The first Opotiki troop of Boy Scouts met at the dairy factory corner on Saturday afternoon. Here they formed signalling stations of one sender, one receiver, and one writer and then moved off into the surrounding country to practice semaphore signalling. The signalling stations formed will be kept and the sarne scouts will work together. The latter part of the afternoon v/as I spent in games and tracking. Patroi j on duty: Fox, Scoutmaster S. Balc|er.
