CALCUTTA, Tuesday. It is fcared that over 30 were drowned when a ferry boat sank near Kolhapur in the Bombay Presidency. The eight survivors state that when in mid-stream the passengers saw approaching a log 011 which there was a huge python. Becoming panic striclcen they rushed to the side of the vessel, capsizing the boat.
