REPORTS FROM VARIOUS TARANAKI FACTORIES RECORDED. SOME INTERESTING FIGURES. Reports from sixteen dairy companies in Taranaki provide an interesting record of what the mother of dairying districts aecomplished last year. Details in brief show: — Eltham Company. The Eltham Company's advance for buttermaking, including the supplementary payinent on July 20, is 9.93d per pound of butter-fat (nett average after all deductions for grade and tests), while the further amount of 1.43d per pound will be available. The total ' advance for cheesemaking, also including the July supplementary payment, is 11.08d p>er pound of butter-fat and the further payment of .64d per pound will be available. Rahotu Company. In the Rahotu Company's report it is stated that payments already made equalled over 9.64d per pound of butter-fat, and, with the final payment, over ls per pound of butterfat for the year would have been paid. Hawera Company. The Hawera Dairy Company is bringing the seasons' average payment to ls per pound of butter-fat for milk supply, and approximately llSd per pound of butter-fat for cream supply. Riverdale Company. The Riverdale Company has paid a halfpenqy honus, making a payout so far of llid. Normanby Company. Suppliers of the Normanby Company have received llld per pound to date, and the balance is estimated to bring the average to just more than ls. Kaimiro Company. Th'e average payment for cheesemaking will total 11.66d per pound. Tarurutangi Company. The payout to cream suppliers has averaged 11.18d per pound. Warea Company. The payout up to the present averages 11.36d, with further payments to be made. Patua Company. Advances paid by the Patua Dairy Company averaged 10.44d for millc supplies, and 9.16d for cream suppliers. Lepperton Company. Suppliers of the Lepperton Company had received 10.31d for milk and 10.69 for cream at the date of the meeting. Waitoitoi Company. The Waitoitoi Company has paid ont 10.65d for cheese and 11.15d for butter. Suppliers received £2 3s 4d for each 10001b of milk. Omata Company. The average payout for finest cream was ls per pound of butter-fat. The cost of production was 1.69d per pound, or lower tlian the cost of any other Taranaki company. Waitara-Taranaki. The final payout for the year will amount to just under lljd for milk and ll£d for cream. Midhurst Company.
