The Times Madrid eomsspondent says tha.t with normaiity restored, interest now centres around the trial of 10u0* prisoners, of whom 66 are ofilcers, ineluding many heroes of the Moroccan campaign. General San Jurgo's rank entitle:- him to a special trial, but the others will be tried in two hatches. The inliuhitants of ihe village of San Jurgo have petitioned the authorities to rename the town as they consider it now a disgrace to the Republic.
