AUSTIN (ENGLAND.) BEATEN IN AMERICAN TOURNEY NEW YORIC, Monday In the Eastern grass courts lawn tennis championship tourney at Rye, New York, on Friday, Clifford Sutter (New Orleans) defeated Austin (England), 6-1, 6-3, and Mangin defeated Lewis, 9-7, 6-4. In the men's final Sutter defeated Mangin, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3-, 6-0. In the finals of the women's singles Mrs. Pittman defeated Miss Ridley, 6-8, 6-1, 6-2.
