FAREWELL PARTY

The Kutarere Ladies' Guild recently farewelled Mrs. A. E. Debreceny who is removing from Kutarere to -Opotiki shortly. A very pleasant afternoon was passed in competltions, etc. After the very dainty afternoon tea, which had been provided by Mrs. A. Malcolm, was served, Mrs. F. C. Gibbs, in a brief speech, spoke of the very valuable work done by Mrs. Debreceny in Kutarere and said that she would be greatly missed. Mrs. Gibbs then presented Mrs. Debreceny with a very useful sandwich tray from the guild. Mrs. Debreceny suitably replied. Mrs. Hodges (Mrs. Debreceny's mother) was present by special invitation.
