HOPES FOR TIMBER TRADE
"Although the position of our timber trade has been extremely difflcult during the last year, it has not been without a ray of hope. Thxre are certainly indications of a renewal of orders, both from local and outside countries," said Mr. James Deans, of Canterbury, in his presidential address at the annual meeting of the New Zoaland Forestry League recently.
