Sir Apirana Ngata, Minister for Native Affairs, was a visitor to Rotorua over the weelc-end. He arrived from Hamilton at 8 o'cloclc on ; Sunday morning and spent the day ; visiting the native settlement blocks i in the vicinity of Rotorua. The Min- j ister desired to see the blocks under . winter conditions. He returned to j Frankton in time to catch the express for Wellington. Mr. V. Elliott, of Opotiki, and Mr. F. Jackson, and Mr. C. Knight, of Auckland, are staying at the Bungalow. Mr. and Mrs. Harper, of Otorohanga, and Mr. E. Wilson, of Auckland, are among those at Park View. Mr. G. Brammall and Mr. A. Maiston, of Melbourne, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. -and Mrs. T. Johnston, of Turakina and Miss B. G. Stark, of Wellington, are at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. W. J. Smith, . of Cromarty, Scotland, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. J. H. Haslett and Mr. J. Partridge, of Auckland, are staying at the PQ 1qp/I TTnf A! • Mr. Len Mitchell, Mr. C. Booth, and Mr. Edwards, of Auckland, are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. H. Forsdick, of Auckland, and Mr. S. Johnstone, of Hamilton, are among those at the Palace Hotel. Mr. J. Williams, of New Plymouth, is spending a holiday in Rotorua, and is staying at the Hotel- Arawa. Mr. E. C. Tassell, of Tauranga, is at Hotel Arawa. Mr. Playwright, of Auckland, is at Arawa House. Miss Croft of Napier Hospital is staying a few days with Miss Hill, Whaka Road. Attention please.
