ST. MARY'S CHURCH

SOGIAL AND DANCE The usual fortnightly social and dance given by St. Mary's Church took place. on Wednesday evening in the Lyric Hall. Flag 500 was played, the winners being Miss W. Hennessey, Mrs. W. Te Hau, Messrs Whitfield and L. Plummer. Booby prizes were won by Mrs A. Martin, Mrs W. Martin, Messrs Martin and Hickey. Of those dancing, the winners of the Monte Carlo were: — Miss Campbell and Mr. A. Cate; Miss F. Shalfoon and Mr. M. Te Hau; Miss D. Voss and Mr. Geo. Burnett. Among the ladies present were: — Misses L. Hartshorne (black satin beaute), McDonald (pink floral georgette), M. Parkinson (green brocade satin), N. Parkinson (green floral ninon), M. Pennell (pink brocade satin), Amo Amo (floral georgette), W. , Amo Amo (apricot georgette), L. Parkinson (brown floral georgette), Martin (wine satin beaute), V. Campbell (pink taffeta and net), V. Hutt (blue floral georgette), Donovan (blue brocade satin), K. Hickey (black georgette), N. Hickey (red georgette), E. Reid (white satin), N. Reid (white crepe de chine), J. Jerraid (blac'k chiffon velvet), N. Dawson (blue satin), I. Kelly (blue satin and net), I. Parkinson (red georgette), J. Donovan (black lace over pink satin), E. Oemoke (floral georgette), I. Cox (black satin), N. Russell (blue crepe de chine), Beca (Putaruru), wine- satin, K. Jephson (black satin), F. Shalfoon (floral georgette), A. Parkinson (floral silk voile), A. Tee (blaek crepe voile), Mesdames Wiley (lemon organdie), Reddick (lemon georgette), Jameson (Auckland) black crepe athol.
