WISHES TO RETIRE
WELLINGTON, Friday. It is understood that the Controller and Auditor-General, Mr. G. F. C. Campbell, has signified his desire to retire. Mr. Campbell entered a private hospital some days ago, when he underwent an operation, and is reported to be progressing favourably.
